The SNSS is involved in the preparation of strategy papers such as the 'Neutron Science Community Roadmap' published by the Swiss Academy of Sciences.

The update of the Community Roadmaps has been published by SCNAT on 18th December 2024. They serve as basis for the process leading to the Swiss Roadmap for Research Infrastructures 2027 for the ERI Dispatch 2029-2032.

In spring 2021, the SGN/SNSS has prepared a strategy paper for neutron science in Switzerland for 2025-2028, it can be found here.

In 2002, the SGN/SSSN has worked out a strategy paper entitled 'Neutronenstreuung in der Schweiz - eine Strategie für die nächsten 15 Jahre'. The final version of the paper can be downloaded below.
